Gender Gap Indicators

The gender gap can be measured by comparing data of various demographic, social, and economic variables between males and females.  But, not all variables can depict the true intensity of female neglect in a society. One has to be careful in selecting the right variables to show the evidence of gender bias in a society.

See research papers to find the methods that can can be applied to disaggregate Total Gender Gap into Parental Bias, Social Bias, Efficiency, and Other Factors in household resource allocation among children.
