Region 13

Region 14

Cyprus (since this partitioned island is claimed to be linked politically with either Greece [Region 1] or Turkey [Region 11] and no satisfactory settlement has yet been achieved despite United Nations involvement).

Region 15

North Polar Region, north of latitude 75º N and South Polar Region south of Antarctic Circle. Region 15 is listed because it provides the northern and southern boundaries for all the other Regions.

NOTES REGARDING REGIONS 14 AND 15

  1. The accompanying map shows Cyprus without (due to a lack of space) identifying it. It is to the immediate left of the caption '11'. Cyprus is currently administered from Head Office and has no Regional Director.
  2. The North and South Polar Regions are not shown on the map. They form boundaries for Regions 6, 7, 1 and 4 to the north, and Regions 9, 8, 2, and 3 to the south.
