I reccomend:

Type sword: Fine sabre, ruby hilted rapier

Type heavy sword: Curved two-handed sword, Holy blade of Soyin (has heal, freeze and burn commands although they are very weak), Wyrm sword, Nodachi (really good behead and helps to tm special weapon quickly), Sarilak (acid attack)

Type mace: Two handed black shafted mace, Ornate warhammer (only any good for its random poison attack)

Type dagger: Thief's dagger x 2 (+1 dexterity when both held), elegant stiletto, switchblade.
