It's been a year since I've last updated my website. I've got an acceptance letter to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, but I am hoping for US school decisions.

It has been a while. My courses at ELAC are coming to an end; I am satisfied with the grades I am getting except for speech, which is a little to the downside. The only thing I have done in this four month interval is study physical and organic chemistry and the various courses at ELAC. It has been getting hard for me to focus, but I need to finish the chapters in a timely manner. Hopefully I will be able to balance sleep and study. I am terrified of getting insomnia.

Here is a picture of my cat.

Bobby ready to hit the camera string.

His name is Bobby. I adopted him from the clinic where I used to work. He was abandoned by his owners when they learned that he had bladder stones. Fortunately an intern doctor Dr. Yuko there knew the owners and cried about putting Bobby down, so Dr. Pavlik performed surgery on Bobby anyway (or did he? I am not certain, but it seems like hair was growing back on Bobby's abdomen which is an indicator that he might have been shaved for surgery.) I took Bobby back after being acquainted with him.

Bobby likes to play with strings and drink milk. He grooms himself often and believes that he should be fed properly and regularly. He is very friendly, albeit a little timid in front of strangers. He is absolutely fearful of car rides, which is a pain to me because I might have to transport him to Ithaca myself. I would hate to hear him "cry" all the way to Ithaca, which would be a three to four days ride and the possibility of him getting sick. In consideration of that, I might let Bobby live in my aunt's house for a while being.

By the way, here is a link to a small business website I ran until March of 2006. It was a windshield repair business and it did not earn much, but the experience was interesting. (The website may not exist in the winter of 2006 as I will not renew the domain.)

Yes, I've received input that my notable events are not completely notable. I'm just going to pretend I never heard that. I want a new laptop; I want to play World of Warcraft so bad. It has been a long time since I had this feeling of wanting to play a game bad enough to want a new computer. I also want to buy cars cheap and sell them for profit. I will wait.

I've registered for a few East Los Angeles College courses which will start Febuary 6: Oral Communication, American Social Problems, Sociology and Psychology of Latin Americans and The World's Greatest Religions. These will substitute toward fulfilling my Cornell degree. Upon receiving several replies from veterinary schools I have applied, I think it may be time for me to return to Cornell and finish my Animal Science degree.

I'm at home most of the time now, ever since quitting my job at the clinic. Needing some time to regroup a little. Good thing is I've reformatted my computer and reinstalled the operating system. The internet and my computer got ten times faster. Damn, I hate those spyware and pop-ups. Finally rid of them. Another thing I did was getting Google Pack and Yahoo! Widgets. Google Pack offers bare essentials for computer users and a free six-month subscription for Norton Antivirus...no credit card required. Yahoo! Widgets provides some nifty gadgets such as an extended weather forecast.

Doing some self-studying in acupuncture and veterinary anatomy. I should really get back to actual studying than talk about it. Alright, good enough for today.
