Favorite TV Show & Movie: About the only show I watch anymore but I don't really see it
much anymore is the "MAX HEADROOM" show. It's home is on the Sci-Fi Channel.
This show has great content, & is more for Adults but I think Kids could learn a lot
from it as well. It has an excellent Cast. It originally aired in Britan & then the
States. I await the Episodes on Video Tape in full & uncut. It's a show based on TV
networks & how corrupt they are as well as other themes.
| I don't really like watching TV. About the only thing I like to use a TV for is watching movies. The reason, I don't like Commercials nor do I like Editing (Censoring) of movies. HBO, Showtime, Cinemax are a different. I watch an extremely small amount of TV. Besides, "regular" TV shows don't hold my attention. Drab story lines (IF any!) & snoring comedy. Most of the Comedy in SitComs' today totally lacks humor. So calling them funny is redundant. But there are a few shows that I do like & I'll talk about them soon... |
| Star Trek: Deep Space 9: When this show first started I didn't like it. Actually it took the 2nd season for me to start watching it more & enjoying it. I believe it's the better story lines & morals that've cought my attention. I can't say "Special Effects" because they don't use much. I'm GLAD Odo is a Shapeshifter again!!! I knew he'd get this "ability" back. :) Actually, the reason why I did not like the show at first & am still unhappy with Paramount; because they Removed Star Trek - The Next Generation from TV. I like the movies, but MUCH prefered that Cast on TV & I still do. |

Star Trek - Voyager: I was angry when this show came out because it seemed
like they took The Next Generation out & replaced it with this show. I actually
believe this may have been a part of it. But oh well...what can 1 person do with
regards to TV?? I WANT TNG BACK!! ...Yeah, right, like that alone is
going to do it...hehe At least I tried. :)
It has an interesting cast of characters; but the ones I'd like to comment on most are, Dovak (I think is the spelling) the Vulcan. A good character but also a LOT like Spock used to be. He still needs to Grow into his own a little more, I think. The Captin. Some people don't like a female as a Captin...WTF?? WHY?? So what?? As long as she fits the role. I gave her a chance, & I like her (oHHhh, so sexy! Muhha). |
I blame TV (Not so much HBO, or Showtime, & the like...for the most part) for about 30% of the problems you find on the street, in schools, & home. BUT I know Parents are the REAL problem! Afterall, TV shows aren't regulated very well at all anymore. Turn to whatever channel & see someone getting killed, raped, the stuffing beatin' out of them, ripped off, & learn HORRIBLE GRAMMAR & ENGLISH!!! I don't know what exactly life holds for me down the road but if I'm to have a Child of my own (well, hehe, not *HAVE* one, damn I'd be RICH then!)...s/he won't be sat in front of the Television if I have something to say about it. Hell no...s/he will be given something contructive & good for his or her mind. But when s/he Is watching TV, then we'd TALK about the shows s/he is watching. Besides, I don't want to come home from work some day & see the kid sitting on the couch/floor/whatever with legs crossed or leaning over (bad posture) & staring blankly into the TV with his/her jaw dropped down hanging just above the floor because her/his brain is slowly being sucked out (I know the Government LOVES it when people are stupid so does Big Business), thus, forgetting that that's not a proud thing to do (besides, it's rude..)
| PSI Factor with Matt Frewer is another show I really like watching. It's another that makes you THINK. It reminds me of the MAX HEADROOM show, but not because MATT is on the show...even though he's part of it, heh heh. PSI Factor is very different in ellement & story line. Look for it in your TV listings. |

Eyes Glued; Minds Decay: Come on people (EVERYWHERE!) demand better shows for TV! This cow dung we're forced to watch is Eye Candy with too much sugar added or Sweet & Low, degrading to our intelligence (Ok, so many people lack that part & TV may or may not have anything to do with it), & for the most part fit for Cats & Dogs to enjoy. Sure, Cats & Dogs just sit there staring at TV & once in a while moving their heads to fallow what's moving on the screen but that's the SAME thing that We do. However, Cats & Dogs at least DON'T talk Back to the TV!!! Perhaps they'll bark or meow but that's instinct to them. We yell/talk at/to the TV knowing full well that it isn't going to reply back or even understand. I'm guilty of this rare event as well. No wonder our dogs/cats look at us with a confused look...especially during, perhaps, a Sports event. We're the smartest animals (sometimes I really wonder about that!) on the planet yet also the dumbest (we're destroying our planet!) :)
Haven't you noticed how Childish the Commercials & TV shows have become?? Don't you ever feel insulted by the Level of Common Sense or GRADE SCHOOL LEVEL that TV & Commercials share??
It's interesting how people I see mold themselves into their chairs or couches & become
duped by TV in most of its waste land. 62 channels with hardly Anything on them.
It's a shame... AND WE'RE PAYING FOR IT!! The biggest scam of all! Haha...except for
me...I have Cable but am only paying for HBO & the Sci-Fi channel. ;) I wonder what
some people do if they lose power, the TV breaks, etc. Do they go somewhere else to
watch TV? Do they start figetting some part of their body (oops, didn't mean that in a
sexual way..)? Perhaps they just get really grumpy & take it out on everything else??
I've seen the answer to some of these...it can be a very sad sight. Anyone care to
have a REAL conversation? Perhaps play a Game together?

Hey! When the battaries DIE in your Remote (Clicker) GET OFF YOUR @!#$ (woah, this
might be considered EXCERSIZE...) & Go turn off the TV/Change the station, WHATEVER,
BY-HAND!! Many of you haven't done that in so long you might not remember how to do it.
OR you may even have your legs collaps as you start to stand. So be carefull, you MIGHT
GET SHOCKED.....................that it actually WORKS! (Betcha' though I was meaning
something else, eh? Perhaps...:)
Our children are the future & they're growing up learning how to kill, shoot, steal,
destroy, & not care ("No Fear! Uhhh-huh huh huh...cool..."). Mind you, it's not
only TV but also the fault of Parents. I suggest NOT plopping them down in front of the
boob-tube but at least have them do something constructive. If you must have them
watching TV, try a channel that shows/teaches them something productive. I hate to say
it, I really do, but Amercia is getting to be the Land Of The Lazy & Non-Thinking. I
love this land but HATE that aspect.
