Lesson 44 - Every Thing Shall Live Whither the River Cometh (Use Ezekiel 43-44; Ezekiel 47)
Preparation
- Ezekiel 43:1-12 ; Ezekiel 44:6-9, 23. Ezekiel is shown a vision of the temple in Jerusalem. Ezekiel 43:4-5 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
- Ezekiel 47:1 , Ezekiel 47:6-12 . Ezekiel sees a river flowing from the temple that gives life to the desert and heals the Dead Sea. Ezekiel 47:12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
- Ezekiel 47:2-5 . Ezekiel measures the river’s depth and discovers that the water gets deeper each time he wades into it.
