About Nellie

Nellie was found running wild at the Fairbanks International Airport. No one knows for sure where she came from before that. She may have been abandoned or escaped from a cat carrier. Apparently she spent at least one bitterly cold winter outside. When she was found she had a family of four kittens. Nellie and her kittens were rescued and taken to a local cat shelter. The kittens were totally feral (wild) but they are gradually becoming more tame. Nellie, on the other hand, must have been someone's pet originally because she is so friendly and loving.
