1983-1994
Partner, VanHark Partnership (First-Look Photo/Photo Shop). created chain of one-hour processing labs in Maryland and West Virginia. Specified purchases and supervised maintenace of all equipment and supplies. Organized, hired, and trained more than 80 employees.

Independent study and experimentation with electronic imaging and Internet at Shepherd College. Participation in relevant conferences, seminars, and trade shows.
1978-1980
Adjunct professor of photography at Shepherd College. Active in organization of photography program and implementation of original curriculum, using facilities at James Rumsey Vo-Tech Center until Shepherd College facility was operational. Supervised integration of Rumsey program into two-year degree program at Shepherd College.
