About the Author
Ram S. Gupta is a Professor of Environmental Engineering at
Roger Williams University and President of Delta Engineers,
Inc., an engineering consulting firm specializing in
environmental discipline. He has over 35 years of field and
teaching experience in civil and environmental engineering.
Dr. Gupta worked on water projects in the United States,
Australia, Liberia, and India. He was instrumental in
developing a very successful Environmental Science and
Engineering Program at Roger Williams University.
He holds doctoral degree in water resources from Polytechnic
University of New York and master's degree in civil
engineering
from IIT Roorkee, India. He has a large number of
published papers to his credit.
Dr. Gupta has been a Roatary Scholar Professor at Kathmandu
University and a Fulbright Scholar at IIT Kanpur.
Dr. Gupta is a member of the American Society of Civil
Engineers and a Registered Professional Engineer in the
States of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
