  • The most obvious and reliable first stop in your search for components/spares - Quad still have healthy supplies of many parts - notable exceptions: Control 22 selector buttons, Quad II power & output transformers...
  • They're the best place for servicing too - some of the guys who made the stuff in the 1960's are still there in the service department. Services can be expensive, but will add value to items you might wish to sell...

  • They carry a good stock of spares - but prices can be high. They're also a Quuad authorised service centre for repairs, reconditioning and service checks.

  • Deliveries are within 14 days from receipt of order and cheque. Prices are subject to carriage at cost
  • Transformers are supplied in chassis format for the end user to re-pot in the original cans

  • Sowter are now making an approximate replica Quad II output transformer (Ref: 8778) for around £75 UK pounds, and replica Quad II power transformer (Ref: 8709) for about £80 UK pounds (inc. P&P)

  • by no means a specific Quad spares supplier, but they do stock many hard-to-find transistors etc, so are a good place to start when looking for replacements for Quad units...
