Q. "Why don't I understand the labs?"

A. Be sure to read each lab exercise before, during, and after each lab session. 



Q. "Do you offer extra credit?"
A. No, but I do apply a generous curve to each exam.


Q. "Do you give make-up exams?"
A. Generally, I do not. See the course syllabus for exceptions.


Q. "Do you take attendance?"
A. Yes, see the course syllabus regarding the attendance policy.


Q. "What are the hours for open-lab?"
A. These hours are posted by the door, outside of the lab.


Q. "How do you grade essay questions and definitions?"
A. Only complete answers get full credit. Partial credit is given if it is appropriate. Be thorough.


Q. "I get confused during the exam or I get anxious and can't remember 
     what I have studied." "What can I do?"
A. Be prepared for the exams. Preparation is the best way to prevent anxiety and "mental blocks". Relax and don't panic.


Q. "I work full time, have children, and other classes." "How can I find time 
     to study?"
A. Look into time management skills. Allow time for yourself. Assign      priorities to your daily schedule. Just be persistent and stay focused, the semester will only last 16 weeks.
