SPICY BEEF AND VEGETABLE STIR-FRY Contributed By: Joy Peteros Ingredients: 1 beef flank steak (1lb.), cut into 1/4 in. strips 1 tsp. minced fresh ginger root 2 tbsp. sesame or vegetable oil 1 1/2 cups brocolli florets 1 cup julienne-cut zucchini 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms 1/2 cup red or green pepper chunks 1 jar (12 ounces) HEINZ Homestyle Brown w/ Onions Gray 2 tbsp. soy sauce Dash pepper Cooking Directions: 1. In preheated large skillet or wok, stir-fry steak and ginger in oil, remove. Stir-fry brocolli, zucchini, mushrooms and red pepper 2-3 mins. or until tender- crisp, adding more oil if necessary. Stir in gravy, soy sauce and pepper. Return steak to skillet. Heat 1-2 mins or until hot. Serve with hot rice. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
