SWEET-SOUR SAUSAGE APPETIZER Contributed By: Joy Peteros Ingredients: 1 lb. smoked sausage cut into 1/2 inch slices 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 2 tbsp. corstarch 1 can (20oz.) pineapple chunks in juice, drained with juice reserved 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/4 cup vinegar 1 medium green bell pepper, coarsely chopped Cooking Directions: 1. Brown sugar in medium skillet over medium heat; drain on paper towels. Combine brown sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan, add reserved pineapple juice and soy sauce; stir until well blended. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add vinegar, pineapple, green pepper and sausage. Heat until hot. Stir in eggs with fork to seperate into strands. Served in a dish.
