This is a math parser that is wrapped in a COM object. It uses some assembly for the x86 processor. It allows you to add variables, constants, and functions (temps defined at runtime, or your own math routines), serialization of memory, and is fairly quick. Included in the zip file: the parser dll & header file, a demo c++ file, a help file, and a gui app demonstrating its use, download (134 kb).
