[A] ] A brief synopsis of my involvement as a UI Consultant in the Product Support ans Services of TUI-UK….for Sonata Software Private Limited. Title:
TUI As a UI Developer with knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, Photoshop and basic JSP, involved in the UI development phase of the project. This includes creating prototypes using JSP for new additions and also to maintain the existing sites, especially tackle the browser related problems as the requirement is to make all the sites to work on all the browsers and also to be W3C/XHTML compliant. Use Editplus for hand coding and work on the Eclipse environment. |
[B] ] A brief synopsis of my involvement as a Senior Software Engineer in the Product Development of Corazio….for ZenSutra Technologies Private Limited. Title:
Corazio Corazio is an Enterprise Information Management [EIM] solution consisting of Document Management, Business Process Management, Messaging and Collaboration modules. These modules could be customized to suit the individual organizations’ needs. This is aimed to enable small and medium organizations to maximize return on their technology investment by providing minimal Total Cost of Ownership and Deployment.Better efficiency and rich features all at a lower cost, thanks to the Open Source technologies like Linux, PostgreSQL, Apache Tomcat used in deployment also makes it platform independent. The product is awaiting it’s 3rd Version Release with enhanced features.Work is also on for releasing a Flash-based version and another Desktop Version which will be seamed onto the Microsoft Office suite and facilitate Document Management, Business Process Management and Messaging as an integrated feature. Responsibility:
As a UI Developer with knowledge of JavaScript, XML, DHTML and CSS,
involved in the UI development phase in the Presentation Layer.
Have worked on tasks in all the 4 modules of Document Management,
Messaging, Collaboration and Business Process Management. Also review
Unit Test cases prior to the coding phase so as to determine the
time-estimate of the various tasks. Work closely with the Java team
to ensure proper delivery and have gained invaluable knowledge of
the working of the system and the backend processes involved. Use
Eclipse environment for local deployment and development of the
application. |

my projects for Genie Interactive Limited as a Project
Coordinator are listed below,
1. ICICIOneSource: Coordinated and assisted with work on the updation and development of the different pages of this new site for ICICI Onesource. Independently handled this project and interacted directly with the client for their requirements, modifications etc. Used Photoshop for creating the images and the rest using Dreamweaver. Used HTML, JavaScript, CSS and DHTML. extensively. 2. Charles Schwab : Presently working independently on the 'Functionality' module of a product of Charles Schwab. Use extensive HTML, JavaScript and CSS for creating mockups for this product demo. Interacted directly with the clients and also with the contractual company, which had in turn outsourced this module to Genie Interactive. 3. Accenture: Co-ordinated and assisted in creating the presentation Newsletters, Banners etc. for Accenture India. Interacted directly with the client for their needs. 4. Apple: Designed newsletters for Apple to showcase their new showroom in Bangalore. 5. J.P. Morgan: Assisted my team members with the testing and bug fixing of screens of a 'Self Assessment' project by J.P Morgan. Used HTML, JavaScript, CSS. 6. OneTech/ ADC : Co Ordinate, design and test the newsletters for these clients from US and the UK on a day-to-day basis. Here new designs were created almost everyday and I led a team of 3 for these tasks. 7. Rastaffco:
Coordinate and develop the website for this client who deals in
Manufacturing items. The team had created the designs and I looked
after the scripting, testing and client Interaction. |

Some of my projects for E-Bizindia.org Private Limited
as a Senior Web Designer are listed below,
1. www.e-bizindia.org: Our company website was redesigned lately to introduce our history, operations and solutions in the field of Document Imaging, XML based forms and online Legal procedures and also online registration for vacancies. Responsible for regular updations and the overall project. The latest version designed is yet to be published online. 2. www.csi-pune.org: Designed this website for the Computer Society of India, Pune Chapter. Also in charge of the constant updations required in case of Events/Promos. Also designed the Internet Newsletter for this organization, which gets circulated to all the members. 3. www.american-process-server.com (American Process Server): Again designed the GUI for this project which provided a platform to it’s 2 entities of Process Servers and the Counties to deal with their Process Serving and other services. Assisted with the testing and bug fixing in the closing stages of the project. 4. Mass Mailing Campaigns: Led a Team to develop this software for our company alongwith our VB, ASP and XML team to send emails to potential clients for our various products and solutions. Schedule time for the campaigns, design pages for sending across, maintaining timelines for my team. This requires being in touch with our Marketing team in the US where the products are usually being marketed. 5. www.gov2you.com/mta (Matanuska Telephone Association): Designed and coded using ASP for a demonstration for the MTA group, a telephone and other basic service providing company, based in Matanuska, USA. This site will soon be using our credit card processing abilities (read authorization ID) incorporated for their online transactions. 6. www.877pizza42.com : Designed the layout of this website to make easier navigation and present a youthful look. Through this site one can order Pizzas…from different stores/locations across the US, and also get an offer on DVDs. Working presently on this project to create an administrator module facilitating easy content management. 7. www.gov2you.com/testboe/login.asp (Board of Equalization, California): Redesigned the site to make it more appealing and easily navigable. This site will be used to file taxes in the US for the Board Of Equalization, a Government entity. 8. Xforms (XML based forms): One of our most admired products in the US, this XML based product has several divisions and sub products especially designed to provide Forms and XML database storing and retrieval capabilities for various industries like the Medical Fraternity, Courtrooms, Retail outlets, Shipping and Port Authority. Designed most of the websites GUIs that were needed for the demos and the product splash screens and VB screens which were customized for the client. 9. www.sbobgyn.com (SB Obstetrician and Gynecology Clinic): Designed this site for purpose of online usage like knowledge sharing, Store Patients profile, their Ailments and treatment details. This was designed for the Managing Partner of the company who herself is a practicing Gynecologist. 10. www.gov2you.com/mdrx (UCLA): This site again was designed for demonstrating our XML based Forms solutions for the medical field. 11. Exxcel Services (Exxcel Services): Designed this site and in charge of getting the Requirement Docs, managing the people and their timelines for this project which had all the process servers in different counties of the United States unite under one umbrella to provide their Legal services. Incharge of documentation of Project Flow, Layout and Design details. The site has yet to go online. |
| [F] My major projects as Web Designer/ Team Leader for Seacom Solutions (I) Private Limited are listed below, 1. www.tecteon.com/cgi-bin/tecteon/index.cgi (Tecteon Plc., UK): The Team had 2 Designers and 2 Developers and used CGI, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS for Tecteon Plc., a UK based company focused on developing and marketing innovative software products that service the current and future needs of the telecommunications equipment and services markets. It developed in 3 phases, the first for revamping the present site, 2nd for the interactive phase including Registration, FAQs, content sharing etc and 3rd phase had chat, online sessions for client interactions etc. 2. www.aiminstallations.co.uk (Anglia Industrial Movements, UK): Developed with a team size of 3, for Aim installations, a UK based company focused on meeting the supply chain needs of manufacturing industry. It provided a flexible range of services providing cost effective solutions, to free up the management time to focus on what they do best. Contributed in the initial documentation, Site flow layouts and design templates for approval. In charge of the graphic design, content development and coordinated with the Clients and my Project Managers. The site we worked on, is not online yet. 3. www.itjobspy.co.uk (Cornex International, UK): Designed the GUI and navigation for this website. Also contributed in the preliminary content documentation, the initial site flow layouts and design templates for approval. This is a Job Portal for the UK and the Europe and has different categories for the Job Candidate who searches for a Job on this site, the Job handling Agency or the Recruiter who lists his vacancies on this site for a fee and the Administrator that’s Cornex, which controls the database and the whole working of the site. 4. www.seacomindia.com (Seacom Solutions): Was then assigned the task of revamping and add a CMS system for the easy management/ Integration for the Administration and the HR functions of the company. The website then had only the Career pages dynamic and had no admin control and so all the changes were made manually. Developed a basic CMS system using ASP suited for our needs, so that the different departments were able to access/modify content from any location and through a the web interface. 5. www.itsmartshop.com (Seacom Solutions): Designed the GUI and the browser compatibility and navigation flow for this site with 6 Java programmers. Itsmartshop is a comprehensive website developed for online B2B and B2C transactions in the IT sector; a B2B and B2C portal for IT products like computers, Printers etc. The different sections were developed using JSP and at the backend SQL Server is used. 6. Beehive: Designed the looks for this in-house project by Seacom that enhances the HR functionality and extends this section virtually to be accessed by the whole organization. Technically this is a web-enabled interface for a day-to-day function of an organization. All the data for an entity [ Employer, employee, applicant ] is collected and stored in the database and accessed virtually by this entity depending upon the individual authorization levels. 7. POS Solutions (SMS UK, SMS India): Worked alongwith another designer and about 20 VB programmers to provide GUI to this main Retail product of Seacom Solutions. Contributed to design the different templates for GUI for the Application forms, reports etc. Also interact with the VB Developers team to Design the collages and icons required for the flow of the wizards, forms, reports etc. |
