Download ftinstal.zip FileTools, A file manager for DOS
This is a file manager for DOS which I wrote in 1993. It has features for copying, moving, viewing (in 4 formats), a powerful editor, user menus, TSR mode, file encryption, archive file viewing...
Download the ftinstal.zip file, unzip it in your \DOS or \WINDOWS directory (or any other directory which is in the "PATH". This will extract the following files:

FT.COM - the main shell, FileTools must be started with "FT"
FTMAIN.EXE - the main program, is started by "FT.COM", use FTMAIN / R for TSR mode. (Terminate & Stay Resident)
FT.HLP - the help file, invoked in FileTools by pressing F1.
FT.CFG - the configuration file, created/modified by FileTools.

Download qna.zip QNA - Generic Educational Question 'N' Answer Tester
This is a generic Question & Answer tester, great for offering a random multiple answer testing for any subject. Originally written as a tester for vocabulary, it was expanded to work with any type of Question & Answer files. It's great for your GRE and SAT testing!
A QNA file is a simple text file which contains a question and it's answer separated by a semicolon (:). Use any text editor to create or add to qna files.
A sample WORDS.QNA file is provided which contains words and their meanings to test for SYNONYMS. After downloading the qna.zip file, unzip it to get the following:

QNA.EXE - The Question 'N' Answer testing program
WORDS.QNA - Sample database of words & their meanings.
Just run the QNA.EXE program, load the QNA file that you want to test (using File/Open) and browse-it, random-test-it, sequential-test-it...

Download dbs.zip DBS - Generic xBase file browser
This is a generic xBase file browser for browsing dBase3 files.
After downloading the dbs.zip file, unzip it to get the following:

DBS.EXE - The xBase file browser
SAMPLE.DBF - Sample database

Download fmg.zip FMG - Text based forms
This is a generic form filler & compiler. You can create any type of forms using this program. All form sources are pure text files, this program makes it very easy to "Fill in the blanks". The blanks are nothing but underscores. It's very easy - just check it out!
After downloading the fmg.zip file, unzip it to get the following:

FMG.EXE - The forms filler & compiler
FMG.CFG - Configuration file
FORM-1.FRM - Compiled form
FORM-1.SRC - Source code of above form
FORM-FAX.SRC - Another form source code

Download resiter.zip RESITER - Iterate resistors
This is a simple program for calculating & iterating parallel & serial combinations of a non-standard resitor using standard resistor values.
After downloading the resiter.zip file, unzip it to get the following:

RESITER.EXE - The Resistors Itraration Program
This is a compiled BASIC version - I can't find the source yet, but will put it up as soon as I can. In the meanwhile, download the ANSI-C version of the source code - resiter.c.
