How To Fill In The Cost Settings
The Cost is divided into 4 Zones. The 4 zones provide you the flexibility of entering rates at different time and days i.e. peak and off-peak rates as followed by many countries. If your country doesn’t follow any peak or off-peak rates then simply write the same timings and rates for all the 4 zones.
You are required to enter the Pulse Rate and Pulse Time in the time and cost column respectively.
Pulse Time is the minimum amt of time for which your telephone company charges you
Pulse Cost is the money that you pay for that minimum amount of time.
For e.g. if you pay some money let's say 1.2 for every 180 seconds then 180 is the time and 1.2 is the cost
The Initial Call Settings enables you to set the call charges applicable (if any) as soon as you are connected to the net
For e.g.
In some countries like Norway the telephone providers charge an extra fee for setting up the call. For example if my pulse cost is 0.10, pulse time is 1 Minute and the initial cost is 0.50 then the charges applicable will be Initial Cost + Pulse Cost i.e. 0.60 for the first Minute only and the Pulse Cost i.e. 0.10 for all consecutive minutes.
Please note that if your system recognizes a COMMA “,” as a decimal separator instead of POINT “.”. In this case write a “,” and not a “.”
It Speaks Too!!!
In the advanced settings box you can set whether you want the software to speak the cost or the time or both after you disconnect form the Internet
Moreover it will also speak if you click the labels on the main window. Take the mouse over the labels like Grand Total Time, Grand Total Cost etc. to know if they speak or not TRY IT!
Timer Facility
Right-clicking the tray icon and selecting the show timer button will switch on the Timer.
It always remains on the top and shows the time spent and the cost simultaneously for the ongoing session.
Reports
Detailed Reports, Graphs and various other Analyses are generated in a visually appealing interface
