The paperwork process begins. We've ordered birth certificates from the State of New York.
We mailed our completed application to our adoption agency, EAC.

Lauren went to Smithtown Town Hall while in New York to pick up copies of our marriage certificates.

EAC, our adoption agency, approved our application for adoption. Mona will be our contact person.
Our documents have been officially logged in by the Chinese Adoption Agency. We now wait approximately six months to receive our referral (picture and medical information).

"FAIRIES"
It has been just about 5 months now and we still are no closer in knowing when we will get the referral of Maddyn. We continue to check the boards and check in with our agency. We are so close and the wait gets even more agonizing.
Our new house is just about done and Nolan and Cole do keep us all quite busy.
