Why would Shimadzu Scientific Instruments go to such great lengths to discourage employees from organizing? The company's position is to work with all employees on an individual basis. Who is this designed to benefit and protect? Well, we all know the answer to that question! Therefore, we would appreciate anyone's help in procuring mailing lists and telephone numbers of Shimadzu employees from across the country. Communication of the many benefits and protection that a labor union can afford could be invaluable to you and your fellow co-workers. All workers have a right to representation, fair treatment, labor contracts, grievance procedures, wages, benefits and healthy safe working conditions. All employees have the legal right to organize and join a labor union. The law is clearly on your side!
