Unique Features

1. Extended database of process models and controller optimal parameters which is easily accessible for User . It is important to emphasize that three model types can be identified: integrating, differentiating and inertia.

Models database of power station processes are needed for:

Diagnostics of the current equipment operation condition
Simulators of power boilers behavior for purpose of operation staff training

Database of controller optimal parameters are created automatically during a current tuning. They are proposed for User as alternative versions for controller adjustment.

Units of Rutenberg PS, Maor David PS, Reading PS and Haifa PS : Database of power station processes were created for diagnostics purposes and for simulating power units behavior. The table below exemplifies a few process models including integrating, differentiating and inertia links.

2. Possibilities are provided for manual tuning, using the identified process model, or for optimal tuning using a model given by the User.

3. Possibilities for the User are provided for inserting parameters of control valve non-linearities (speed restriction, backlash) and system "equivalent noise".

4. Complicated power plant modeling

The CSTP is fitted with the unique technique for identifing transfer functions of dynamic processes of three types: integrating, differentiating and inertia ones. These techniques allow creation of complicated power plant models (see one example below)
