In this page I try to explain the title "The 4th Time Zone". The word "4th" (fourth) comes from "Forth", a strange "Fourth" contraction. The words "Time Zone" take their starting point from a funny comment about the background I chose for these pages, a world map, that facetiously looks like a time zone map. Combining the first with the latter you get the title. Incidentally, if you start from the date line time zone and go East through four zones you reach the United States western coast time zone, which is where it all began.
