Angelito Altares Jimenez (AAJ) started working abroad in April 1990. After a rigid qualification
selection, he was chosen by the NKK Corporation to be sent to Japan.. He was assigned as
Architect/Renderer with NKK Amenity Development Department (Design Group) in Yokohama. He
had involvement with the AOIA Splash Garden Project
iin Kobe which was considered as the World's Largest Water Slide
Amenity Park. He become a member of the Japan Architectural Renderers Association (JARA)
in 1991. He then participated his work in AOIA Splash Garden Project to its Annual
Exhibition in Tokyo.On the same year he started to be affiliated with the American Society
of Architectural Perspectives (ASAP). His initial exhibition was when he made his Water
Tank Gallery Work an entry to a Government Museum Project Design Competition in Yokusoka
City that later won a Formal Category Selection Award in October 1993 International
Competition and Exhibition of Architectural Illustration in Chicago, U.S.A. After his two
years assignment in Japan, he continued his job with the company's NKK International Pte
Ltd in Makati, Philippines.. In
August 1992 his former Government boss' recommendation offered him an opportunity to work
in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. He joined the
Al Hejailan A/E Consultants in September 1992
and got involved with Royal Saudi Land Forces Main
Headquarters Project until
September 1993.
In January 1994 he joined Malik Lip & Associates
Environmental Planners
and Landscape Architects in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia after qualifying the selection
conducted in Manila. He worked as Senior Architect for the preparation of Master Plan of Sungai Klang (Kuala Lumpur River) Landscape and Development
Project . It was a Federal Government project on the
occasion of Malaysia's hosting of the1998 Commonwealth Games.
That was his shortest stint in Malaysia when he joined the Geoff Malone
International in Singapore as Design Architect. In March 1994, he was tasked to worked in
Brunei with the Company's Istana Assurur a Residential and Recreational Palace Project of the
Royal Family. Many more projects came
until he was assigned with DPD Private
Office, a Government Building Project which his last
assignment after almost four years with the company until its closure.
After
a year in private job, he joined the MCKerrell Lynch Architects
(Australia) and was involved for the completion of
The Empire Resort
Hotel & Country Club in Brunei where the venue of Asia-Pacific
Nation Leaders held the APEC 2000 Summit. He later worked with
ERC & Associates in U.S. Island Territory of Guam, Los Reyes
Consultants & Dowler-Gruman
Architects in San Francisco & Mountain View in California, U.S.A.
His long years in involvement with the Computer Aided Design Operation
has led him to enhance his know-how in computer. He likewise developed his potentials with 3D
Modeling,
Digital Imaging and Animations.
At present, he has made a number of Digital Architectural Presentations and Animations through AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max
and Photoshop.
