REVIEW: Considered the top introductory physics books available, this three volume set covers
all of the important aspects of physics. Though it was written for a first year university course,
the material spans everything from high school classes to graduate school. Definitely required in
every physics library.

Mathematica for Physics by Zimmerman & Olness
REVIEW: This book is by far the best way of learning to use Mathematica. It covers
every aspect of undergraduate physics, including quantum mechanics and general relativity
while continuously introducing new commands and shortcuts for Mathematica. Anyone
planning to use Mathematica should start with this book.

The Physical Review - The First Hundred Year by Henry Stroke
REVIEW: This is a compilation of about two hundred original research papers produced by American
physicist in the last hundred years. As well, it comes with a CD-ROM which contains over a thousand
important physics papers. This book is required for all people interested in the history and
development of physics!
