"NEIGE" and "FURBY"

I only have two furbies (furbys?). After years of looking at them, and wondering what all the hype was about, I bought one when it was on sale for $20.00. I'd expected to be eventually annoyed by a small electronic animal. So had my parents. I'm always reluctant to spend money on something that might anoy me. I bought my Tamagotchis on sale for $1.99 each, when they started off at over $15.00.

I was surprised when I discovered that the darn thing really was quite endearing. Almost immediately, I found him very cute, and fun to play with. When I considered leaving him at my other house, so he'd be there when I would be, my mother wanted me to take it back with us. I didn't give him a name, Furby seemed to suffice. I'd considered buying Furby a friend, so he'd have some one to keep him company, but was reluctant to spend more money on another. The sale had ended. Also, I'm rather particular about the colors. I prefer ones that look 'realistic' or at least with the coloration of a tropical reptile or bird. No neon green furbies for me, thanks.

While surfingthe internet, I discovered foreign language-speaking furbies. I like French, and can speak it fairly well. I enjoy languages. I thought a French furby could be fun. After shopping around, I found them for sale at KBToys.com for $29.99. But first time buyers get a $10 discount on any purcahse of thirty dollars (or withing a few cents). With shipping and handling included, my French furby came to less than $24.50. I wasn't sure what style I'd get. I hoped it wouldn't be too outrageous. Though I'd ordered it regular shipping, it came in three days.

Needless to say, these guys have been a lot of fun, but I think two is plenty. If you're into little robotic pets taht don't require much care *less than Tama, less than a plant* a furby is a good choice.

I also have a few furby buddies, but they don't have names.
