Overview Committee Scrapbook Reunion 2000 Contacts Lost Sheep Help?		Next Reunion, Summer 2000 It has been five years since the last WRHS Band Reunion, so don't you think it's about time we got together again? The last reunion demonstrated that we still have what it takes to party, make music together, and tell slightly embellished stories about our exploits in high school. String orchestra: as an added bonus, we've decided to expand the reunion this time and invite all participants in the instrumental music program, including all bands and the orchestra too. If you're a string player, we'll be holding a separate practice concurrent with the band rehearsal Saturday morning, and the orchestra will be asked to perform a few numbers during the evening concert. Hot off the press This reunion is going to be even better than the last one -- we intend to record the Saturday evening concert for posterity, so get your instruments dusted off and make this the best WRHS performance ever! We'll have a professional organization handling both video and audio recording of the concert; the videotape and CD will be a valuable addition to your already extensive collection of WRHS band albums. It's very much like it was five years ago, but we'll schedule no planned activities for Sunday. Friday, June 23, 2000 6:00 pm: Wheat Ridge Recreation Center. -- registration begins. Come pick up your name tag and reunion directory. 7:00 pm: Reception and dinner at the new Wheat Ridge Recreation Center. Saturday, June 24 9:00 am: Band and orchestra practice. ItÕll last as long as our chops do. 12:00 pm: Picnic time at Anderson Park. 6:30 pm: Set up for the concert. 7:00 pm: Downbeat. Be ready to play. Or listen. Five Easy Steps 1.
