Peculiar Explainations and Memorizations

Inspired by a memorization technique, I'm trying to gather some of the above. Start remembering now.

Is it graduate or civil engineer?

Heck if I know.
If anyone feels mislead because I've said I'm studying to become a civil engineer, and though I was into construction... tough luck, cause I'm norwegian, and all "foreign", that is, ppl who don't have english as a native tounge, has a certain "muck-up" quota, a number of times we can mess up badly and still be excused. So put this one on mine.

Turbo Pascal 7.0 + Windows 98 = Crash city?

In March 1999, I found out that almost ALL my Turbo Pascal 7.0 programs had DIED! They blurted a '200: Division by zero' error, and rested in peace, every one of them...
My vague conclusion so far: the Crt unit (Crt.tpu) is BAAAD! Removal of that fixed a lot... and crippled DOS text output too!
Since Magic Maze used FastVGA and the GusUnit from the PC-GPE, it should be noted that
  • FastVGA's VOCUnit seems to generate the error too.
  • PC-GPE's GusUnit uses the Crt unit. 'Remove, and thou shall be saved!' ... hopefully.
Summa summarum: I think we can safely say that Turbo Pascal 7.0 is getting old in the tooth.
