Managed up to twenty social science professionals and budgets up to $2 million per year. Fifty publications prepared over ten years.
Highlights included being a temporary general in Vietnam reporting to Creighton Abrams; being offered positions as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Treasury and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense; an eight page special supplement on Social Security in Kiplinger's Changing Times magazine; quotations in Time Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post; and publication of "Population, Public Policy, and Economic Development" in honor of my deceased mentor Dr. Stephen Enke; interactions with GE CEO Reg Jones and future CEO Jack Welsh; and the recognition of GE TEMPO as a world wide leader in the effort to stabilize world human population.
