VOLUME CONTROL  

As Francesca and Francy are very easy to drive with the output of a CD player, you need only a good volume pot to complete the chain.

Here's the one I've made: it's a 100K log. ladder POT based on a 2way-24 pos. ELMA switch. This switch is quite good: it's gold plated contacts and a plastic protection against the dust.

To build the resistor Network  I've used 1/4W 1% HOLCO resistors. The values are below:

This is a very good volume control. Compared to high-level pots it's the advantage of more precison and less noise. One defect is that the last steps of the switch give a big increase in the sound's volume.
