Contract was to include some Cold Fusion Development, however, funding was lost, and the project was terminated.

Assisted Technical Support Techs whenever the specific service desk request was too hard for them, in all areas, including: failing MS Office Apps, Terminal Emulator failures or networking problems. Used FrontPage, Cold Fusion and Cold Fusion Studio for applications such as Living PhoneBook, HelpDesk Request System and department-specific content. Used Java Applets and Javascripts for fancy graphics, and created custom graphics and backgrounds using Microsoft Image Composer. Used CGI for online Message Board. Used Frames or Active Borders as needed, and also FrontPage Themes. Also installed and managed the eRoom Product from Instinctive, to manage living - sharable content with several departments.

Created a Printer Resources Web-Site (Using Frames), which contained ftp links for 65 different printer drivers, and detailed instructions for their installation, on any machine-type and any O.S. Performed network administration functions as well as desktop support for a campus of about 400 users on NT, Novell, Unix and Macintosh platforms. Office 97/95 was running on Windows 3.10, Win95 and NT platforms. Evaluated various software packages, and hardware devices, that have been just released by several of today?s top software and hardware manufacturers, on all three of the most common operating systems.

Helpdesk - Network and Desktop Field Support - User Trainer |
Traveled around user sites to help with machine failure, network card replacement, login problems (there were 90 servers world-wide, Lan Cards = 3Com, Intel, Racal), application problems, and printing problems. Ran the helpdesk, as well as going to user sites to resolve problems involving printing, document security software, Wordperfect and Office. Set up a Novell server with Lotus Notes and a client machine, in order to read and search a Lotus Notes database that was acquired from a subpoena. Worked at the helpdesk, resetting users accounts, talking them through software problems involving logging in, CC-Mail, Lotus Notes, Terminal Emulators (Reflections), Microsoft Office Suite, and dispatched technicians.
