The NEW Turner TLG Graphite Bike
The NEW Turner Bicycles.
The JackRabbit, SWB
My SWB has been named the JackRabbit, "named by my wife, as it is fast, and nimble." Also she objected to me naming it the "Coyote". (She thinks I am fixated on the Looney Toons Characters. (I don't think so even if I Do have 70+ loony toon ties.) So it became the JackRabbit. It went through many different variations starting when I built it. I was trying out my "New" LWB when I ran into, (Almost Literally), a gentleman on a Turner LaidBack. Us(bent riders) being rare animals, we stopped, each eyeing the others' mode of locomotion, him saying something like, "What the heck is that?" I asking, "How do you Ride something that looks like that?" I had never see a SWB before, (this being pre-RCN days, for me anyway.) He Showed me. I rode it (Shakily), and decided that I liked it due to its quickness, and its avowed ability to go fast. (I still had not added the intermediate gearing and fairing on the LWB.) Suffice it be to say that sooner than later, I had another bent and was well on my way to making changes even as I rode it the first time. These are my original plans. As you can see I had named it Coyote.
I built it, and now I have a 26X26" SWB. This is how I envisioned the changeover.
I ride the bike everyday,(almost)and it handles well, is fast, climbs well, and causes whiplash. (You know, ....What Was That?!)
This is the JackRabbit finally. I am sorry about the image quality. I never was much of a photog.
This bicycle is a SWB by Haluzak.
