The last words of the Book of Revelation, "Even so,
come, Lord Jesus" (Rev. 22:20b), are the prayer and hope that Christians
for two millennia have uttered. We should count ourselves extremely blessed
by His grace to realize that our generation is the generation to see the
fulfillment of all these things.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

To make the ABCs of prophesy easier to remember,
an acronym might help. The time spans which begin with each of the ABC
points can be referenced by the first letter of a word that aptly describes
the main characteristic of the initial event. In this age of popular music
and slang expression, the concept of "rapping" comes to mind. Rapping means
to talk about or discuss something in a "down to earth" fashion. So let's
rap about understanding prophecy, all you have to say is "RAP-ME":

In the history of the world, two vessels convict
the conscience of man: the Ark and the Titanic. The great tragedies surrounding
their maiden voyage are unparalleled in the archives of human experience.
One tale is a Bible story. The other, a video to rent and sell. In this
time of eclipse for the 20th century and millennium, it is wise to ponder
these epic tales that compel us to this day. The ark of wood has not been
found, but the ark of iron is a modern legend. Without success, expeditions
have been launched to find Mount Ararat's Ark; and it is rumored that Titanic
may be raised from its silent grave. Perhaps someday the Ark-ship will
also appear to remind us of our present.
"A Ship of Fools"
Noah preached with patience,
of God's judgment day;
they jeered and laughed and called him names,
they could not see the rain.
They couldn't hear the thunder,
nor feel the damp'ing wind,
until the day that God came down
and shut His family in.
They came to see the rising ship,
"let us in" their voices cried;
there screams and yells would echo faint
God had to let them die.
God's not mocked although it seems,
that sin will have its day,
a tally kept, it must be paid,
when judgment comes to reign.
Titanic is a sign for us,
the ending of man's play;
a drama made to divinate
this hopeless state today.
A world that boasts so many things,
and scoffs at holy saying'
is soon to find a ship of fools
at the bottom of its dream.
They eat and drink and carry on
and curse the Holy Name,
but just as storm clouds gather now,
there surely will come pain.
A ship set sail that April day
that "heaven couldn't sink!"
but surely now this tale is told,
to warn us of our fate.
Like Noah's ark, a warning,
to the cities round about,
a symbol of the wrath of God
to people who preach doubt.
With wooden logs of pitch and tar,
Conformed to human need,
it spoke of simple holiness,
in which our God is pleased.
Noah was a carpenter
who fashioned from just trees,
a vessel that withstood the tide
of evil man's disease.
He carried hope into the earth
where on a single beam,
a carpenter would salvage us,
a "ship of fools", from sin.

The author is a senior computer analyst with a
major information technology corporation. He is married to the former
Lisa McClain of Tallahassee, Florida. Currently the Bartees live in

Eastern Religion, and New Age experiences could not compare to God's prophetic
word, the Holy Bible. Confronted with the Truth, he prayed the sinner's
prayer and received Jesus Christ as his Savior. John's sincere hope for

Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the name of Jesus your Son. I confess that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sinful life. I need your forgiveness.
I believe that Jesus is my personal Savior and the He shed His precious blood on the cross for my sins.
You said in your Word that if I confess Jesus as my Lord and believe in my heart that you have raised Him from the dead that I will be saved (Rom. 10:9-10).
I confess Jesus as the Christ and my Lord. In my heart, I believe that Jesus has been raised from the dead by the power of your Holy Spirit and is seated at your right had making continual intercession for me.
This is my day of my salvation, on this day ________ I receive Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. I am saved!
Thank you Lord Jesus for taking my place on the cross as a sinner
and in exchange giving me eternal life.
