Jennifer Garner wins Golden Globe for best actress in a drama:
"Next up, it's TV time, as King of Queens costar Leah Remini and My Wife and Kids star Damon Wayans break out the noms for Best Actress in a TV Drama: Lorraine Bracco, Amy Brenneman, Edie Falco, Jennifer Garner, Lauren Graham, Marg Helgenberger and Sela Ward. The winner is--wowzers!--Jennifer Garner for her butt- kicking lead role on ABC's rookie spy thriller, Alias. Shocked faces all around, kisses to hubby--Felicity costar Scott Foley--and Garner is genuinely flabbergasted.
"I'm really glad I had the first glass of wine; I'm really regretting the second," she says, before thanking series creator J.J. Abrams, adding, "I know I was good in Dude, Where's My Car?, but, seriously, I can't thank you enough for believing in me."
