For thermal comfort:
                 -   indoor air temperature in winter of 19-20deg C, and in summer between
                     20-24 deg C;
                 -   surface temperatures of walls etc within a space should not differ by more than
                     2-3deg C from the air temperature;
                 -   relative humidity of room air should not fall below 30% in winter and in
                     summer should vary naturally between 40% and 60%;
                 -   air velocity at head and knee levels should not exceed 0.2 metres per second.
For lighting comfort:
                -   design to achieve good daylighting;
                -   design to avoid glare:
                -   consider mock-ups or other visualisation aids to investigate requirements
                     of visual comfort such colour, texture and brightness pattern which are
                     not subject to an analytical approach.

For aural comfort:
               -   first ensure that unacceptable structural transmission does not occur:
               -   design out intrusive outside noise sources;
               -   select ventilation fan blades to avoid annoying frequencies and use
                    resilient mounts.
Conservation:
             -  reduce total energy consumed per thousand dollars income by at least
                5% per year with 25% reduction by the end of five years;
             -  reduce water draw-down from local sources by 5% per year,
                through conservation;
             -  reduce total paper and paper products consumption by 10% per year.
Recycling:
           -  utilise alternative energy sources (renewable/co-generation) to a renewable
              degree;
           -  reach a level of 50% recycled water by end of five years;
           -  reach a usage level of 90% recycled paper, where we must use paper, by
              end of five years and maintain that level;
           -  recycle the most used chemicals 30% by end of five years.
Pollution:
          - contribute where we can to the reducton of greenhouse and acid rain
            generating gases;
          - meet the most restrictive standards for wastewater discharge;
          - meet a "noise to neighbours" standard at any point on our property
            perimeter < 60dB(A).
Contamination:
        - handle, store and dispose of all pontential contaminants and hazardous
          substances in a manner to meet or exceed the strictest environmental
          safety standards of any community.
Waste:
       - move to recycleable , reused, or biodegradable packing materials
Products and Technologies:
      - to use products for decreased energy comsumption;
      - enablement of more energy-efficient applications.
Proactivity:
     - proactively support local initiatives such as :Clean-up the World";
     - sponsor an annual "environmemtal day";
     - encourage our neighbours to lead/participate in environmental committees,
        symposia, "watch-dog" group, etc.
