Of Greek origin, geometry means
"to measure the earth".
This branch of mathematics deals
with the measurements,
properties and relationships of
points, lines, planes and solids.
Successfully completing Algebra
I is a prerequisite for geometry since
Algebra I skills are used extensively
throughout the geometry course.
Each student should have a homework cover page for the current chapter. Students may use their homework during tests or quizzes, so the homework for any chapter will be collected after the chapter test. Homework quizzes will happen at any time to encourage the students to stay up to date with the assignments.
