Hello from Iwakuni, Japan. I make my home on a Marine Corps Air Station
-- far away from southern Massachusetts where I was raised. What
brought me to Japan? I came to work at as teacher for DoDDS (Department
of Defense Dependents Schools) in 1985. I met my husband Bill while
assigned to Yokota Air Base outside Tokyo. We were married in Cherry
Point, North Carolina in 1989. Bill has since retired after 28 years
as a Marine fighter pilot. He now works as the Total Quality Coordinator
for the Air Station. Our children Tracy, Caryn, Deidre and Terry
are grown and off on their own adventures. We are now raising two
loving, adorable and spoiled Shih Tzu dogs.

My interests include collecting Asian antiques -- especially blue and white ceramics, traveling, keeping up with computer technology and sometimes golfing.
Japan, Land of the Rising Sun, is a beautiful country with polite and friendly people. Iwakuni lies on the Inland Sea, close to Hiroshima. The climate is temperate with four seasons to enjoy.
