2000 brings Gene's 5th anniversary! New dolls include FAO Schwarz limited edition Spotted in the Park. The new yearly edition Gene is Twilight Rhumba. The hottest new doll this year will be Madra Gene's rival in Hollywood. Madra has jointed elbows as well as jointed knees. All of this years' Gene dolls will have jointed knees and all dolls and outfits are limited editions of 5000. There will be a very limited edition Madra doll called Black Widow and one limited Madra outfit, Highland Fling. Madra will have six open edition outfits and one open edition doll. The new platinum Simply Gene will have a twist waist this year.
