What I really think of my friends
My friends really mean a lot to me, so here is a quick listing of them:
Chester Lee - This guy is kind of similar to me, and we have similar ideas
about a lot of things, especially about praise. It is kind of strange how I am
normally active in praise bands and he isn't. I guess I'm the strange one though
since he is more consistent with what we believe. I suppose after this year, I
will be too. I don't know Chester as well as I should, but I really admire his
genuineness.
Carrie Choi -
In some sense, Carrie is one of my few friends in Los Angeles. She plays
Jazz piano really well. Come to think of it, I guess I don't know her that well
either. I don't think she shares very much. But I do know her home page is
pretty impressive, and she is an ardent member of the ROSS club, the club at least
if not the store.
Christin Yoo - This person is really funny but I know she hears this from
everyone and doesn't always know how to respond. People don't always look past
her funny side, but if they did, they'd be able to see what a good job she does as
committee head for the college band. Not only that, she has a good voice, plays
the guitar, and the keyboard. While she doesn't exactly accept the truth yet, one
day she'll accept that she is actually pretty good at these things.
Ho Yun - Even though Sarah and I make fun of him a lot, I really have
grown to appreciate this guy's presence at NCPC. While, his presence in the
band is pretty much essential, his presence off the team has been encouraging
to me as well, especially studying, talking about car modifications, or
about music. I suppose at times he says some things that I think are pretty
wacked out, but deep down, I think he's pretty cute.
Jacob Chung - I realize I don't know this guy too well either. How could I, since
I never went to the same church, school, or anything. In all seriousness, I probably
know him best through his home page. But hey, you have to start somewhere. I'm sure
he knows how we all admire him for his heart, if maybe not for his slight foolishness
for leading praise with the drums. ;)
N. Edward Lee - I really love this guy. I always tell him how precious our times
are, but I really mean it. I haven't really seen that many people this semester,
which is probably my fault, but whenever he's around, I can almost always smile.
Sarah Kim - Who would have thought how good friends we would become. I'm always thankful for our friendship and I always hope to know her. She's awesome!
