This cyber-wizard tours the State of Washington
. Washington is a beautiful place. Divided by the Rocky Mountains, the state has three distinct climes. The western portion enjoys a temperate clime from the warm Pacific air, the central part lives the extremes from the mountain climate, and the eastern portion is decidedly desert.
. Seattle
. Out for a Stroll, One Day.... Just out for a stroll, one day....
Queen Anne Park Queen Anne park, the western one. Just across the street, you can look out over Puget Sound.
Quintessential Seattle Perhaps one of the most associated scenes of Seattle. This shot is from the eastern Queen Anne park. There are picnic areas, lots of benches, and "Scenic View" signs. Often, too, there are young couples [who are embarrassed if they think you're catching them on camera].
Some Clouds The mainstay of a Seattle-ite's diet, along with "drizzle."
. Seattle Center
. Web Gate This utility area has a rather appropriate entrance.
Big Kids with Little Toys These teens exposed! Caught in the open, these kids are having mass fun with little tykes' toys. This shot is in the "Center House" where the food court is.
Fountain of Youth Ponce de Leon missed his mark, a little. The true "Fountain of Youth" is here. The jets of water are from an over-sized type-writer ball that shoots out water. Somehow, they engineered the fountain to spray in time, and in intensity, with music. Of course, kids just love to see how close they can get without being drenched, too.
