Washington is a beautiful place. Divided by the Rocky Mountains, the state has three distinct climes. The western portion enjoys a temperate clime from the warm Pacific air, the central part lives the extremes from the mountain climate, and the eastern portion is decidedly desert. |

Perhaps one of the most associated scenes of Seattle. This shot is from the eastern Queen Anne park. There are picnic areas, lots of benches, and "Scenic View" signs. Often, too, there are young couples [who are embarrassed if they think you're catching them on camera]. |

Ponce de Leon missed his mark, a little. The true "Fountain of Youth" is here. The jets of water are from an over-sized type-writer ball that shoots out water. Somehow, they engineered the fountain to spray in time, and in intensity, with music. Of course, kids just love to see how close they can get without being drenched, too. |
