The locomotives of the 6400/6500 series are the newest type diesel engines, they replace the 2200 and 2400 series. A total of 120 (Therefor 6400 and 6500) were built between 1989 and 1995. The 6400/6500 is 14,40 meters long, has a total weight of 82 tons and has a continues power rating of 1180kW. The maximum speed is 100km/h. |
