You've always been there for me,
Always telling me right from wrong,
Looking after me with those sweet caring eyes,
Lifting me up when I was down,
And loving me when no one else would,

And what did I do in return?
I always chose wrong before right,
Did things that you didn't want to see,
Pushed you away when you wanted to help,
And hated you when you offered your love,

Now I look back and see,
That everything you ever said to me,
Was everything I needed to hear
That the things that you gave to me,
Were the only things that really mattered,

Now you’re gone,
Out of my life,
What can I do now?
I'm all alone with nobody to love me,
With no one to guide me,

I am truly sorry,
For making you watch your friend,
Ignore your caring, loving words,
And destroy his life right before your eyes,

For you will forever be exalted in me,
Your love will forever remain,
