EGOIDOLOGY
The Way To A Better Quality Of Life
What will make me successful?
A significant part of Egoidology is knowing how to shape your destiny. You must understand what it is that compels you to do what you do that ultimately shapes your destiny.
“Nature has placed mankind under the government of two sovereign masters,
pain and pleasure...they govern us in all we do, in all we say,
in all we think and every effort we can make to throw off our subjection,
will serve but to demonstrate and confirm it.”- JEREMY BENTHAM
To lead a more successful and happier life, you must ask yourself two fundamental questions.
1. What do I want to achieve in life?
2. What am I willing to do to achieve this goal? Most of us will answer question one very quickly, as so many of us our living our lives unfulfilled. Question two requires a little more thought, it may also be expressed as, ‘How much pain am I willing to tolerate in order to obtain my goal?’ Whether this be physical or mental depends upon your initial goal.
The reason why so many people today are living a life below what they’re capable of is because they are not determined or focused enough to tolerate the amount of pain needed to achieve their goal. The truth is, very few people are! People are successful because they have learnt how to manipulate pain and turn it into pleasure. The question for them is, ‘How much pleasure am I willing to tolerate to achieve my goal?’ The most exciting development is that you too can learn how to make the transition from pain to pleasure just by following the ideas and philosophy of Egoidology. It’s that simple.
You must constantly ask yourself, what is going to get you to where you want to be tomorrow. Is it going to be by putting your faith and belief in someone else, or having faith and belief in yourself? Knowing that it is you and only you who will ultimately create or destroy the quality of your life is the essence of Egoidology.
The belief that becomes truth for me...is that which allows
me the best use of my strength, the best means of putting my
virtues into action.”- ANDRE GIDE
