Odyna

Odyna is a lycanthrope (were-cat). She is a snow panther, having silver fur, dressed in black leather and red silk.
Odyna is quite muscular for a woman, and a soft, velvety pelt of silver fur covers her body. She has hair of a darker shade of silver which falls in large soft curls to her hips. Her eyes are bright blue most of the time, except when upset. When she's angry, her eyes seem to become swirling pools of ice-blue...when she's sad or depressed, they become dark saphire, and depending on how severly upset she is, they may seem to be midnight blue or even black. Her retracable claws are pearlesent white, as are her teeth. Although flashy, her natural weapons are rarely used because of her usuall friendly disposision.
Odyna is dressed in black and red with gold trimmings. Her shirt is black leather, and lined with black silk underneath so as not to chafe her. She has a skirt of red silk, over which is gaurded by strips of black leather. Each strip is pointed, mostly for show, and has a small gold star inside the pointed end. The middle strip has a large gold star, which is more symbol-like and appears to be rather a flaming sun. Her cloak is scarlet and lined underneath with crimson (dark) red.
Odyna's accesorries are her jewelry and her mace. She has a gold headband with an obsidion orb in the center, which matches her necklace of the same design. She wears no rings or piercings. Her mace has a sturdy wood handle, and a gold chain to wich is attatched a gold ball with 13 two-inch spikes.

Odyna's personality is friendly, but cautious. A smile usualy wins over frowns most of the time, although there are "those days". After overcoming her shyness, she will usually talk about anything and everything. One reason for her hesitation with people is her speach. Because she was raised in the wild, she hasn't been able to talk properly for lack of practice and lack of being around normal speach to constintaly have it 'drilled' into her. Her vocabulary is limited, but seems to get her point across without much trouble. Most would say she is stupid or child-like because of her broken sentances, but she is actually very brilliant...she knows how to survive, and is just not "people" smart. When she speaks, her words are usually clear, but sometimes get clouded by her animalism and appear to be made of grunts and growls.
As mentioned, Odyna is actually a genius. Although she doesn't know much about the "modern" world, she knows much about the outside and wilderness. Actually she prefers to live in the woods and mountains, and only comes to populated areas when urged by her friends.
Unless STRONGLY provoked, or when she is protecting something that she deems important, she will never use her weapons. In fact, her mace was given as a present to her, and is mostly for show. She has only used it once, and that was to save her friend, which at the time was her ONLY friend.
