RIFTS

I'm not to sure about what RIFTS are, but as far as I understand it, they are dimentional portals. Beings who gate in, usually aliens, are called "D-Bees" which is short for Dimensional Being.
I'm not sure what happened first, the RIFTS or the great war....and I'm not even sure there was a great war, but that's what I've heard. (like when our characters are in a store or tavern, and people talk about the way the nation used to be after all the destruction)
