This set of 6 Italian "800" silver shovel spoon bowls was among my first acquisitions.
I still am unsure as to their purpose, but they are enjoyable spoons
and I particularly enjoy the detail finials on Italian spoons

Note: these spoons are also available in silver plate. The silver ones are marked "800". If they do not have this marking, they are lower quality silver plated and much less valuable.
