Spring 1997 Contractor for a Day Program
Selected to join the annual program sponsored by Ohio Contractor Association (OCA) among students in the construction engineering department. This program exposed students to the real world projects currently undertaken in Columbus area. This includes highway, bridge, asphalt and gravel plant, and also building constructions
Autumn 1997 Schottenstein Arena Tour
Site visit of the currently under construction Scottenstein Arena located near OSU campus area in Columbus Ohio. This tour is part of the ASCE activity for its members. Students are exposed to the real world construction problems, in addition to innovative construction methods, procedures, safety considerations, construction management and scheduling applied in this project
