Please list any significant medical illnesses? Examples: breathing
problems, heart disease, diabetes, high blood
pressure.
OPTIONAL: camera, tripod, film, binoculars, wildflower guide, umbrella, hiking sticks, a plastic bag for your boots to keep sand out of your car.
Not needed: Power or fitness hikers. You must want to see things along the way and there really is no given endpoint.
I plan to depart Las Vegas about 2-3 p.m. Friday. You can go separately if you have instructions. Driving time: 4.5 hr/240
miles. Return to LV by 9 p.m. Sunday June 27, again no guarantees. (hoped for) Trail start time
as early as possible, predawn. (prayed for, but highly doubtful with a party
greater than 2)
Camp: primitive, no water, has pit toilet. Still wanna go? Think, "yes."
OTHER Information: Photographers can be very crazy people, we may hang around an area waiting for the right light, holding everyone else up. We may elect to begin a hike 2 hours before sunrise and return to camp 2 hours after sunset, just to be at the "right place at the right time." Some of us may take 5 seconds to take an image; others like myself may take 20 minutes. I may compose, set up my camera turn on the lightmeter and put everything away without taking the picture. If you use a good tripod, you will have extremely sharp photos.
