Photo left, me, Jeffrey Wong, taking a lunch break Photography I have always enjoyed walking and camping the deserts and mountain forests of the Southwest. I photographed because I loved what I saw and so does everyone else. Hiking and photography fit together very naturally. I bought my first professional quality camera, an Olympus OM-1 35mm SLR, in 1977. I used the camera for years without really understanding film and light meters. Many images never made it properly to film. In June 1996, I educated myself through books and magazines. My life changed! I threw away the badly exposed and poorly composed images. These pages show just a few of the better images that resulted. Thank you for visiting. |
