Havasupai 1999

A woman drove me to drink and I didn't even have the decency to thank her. -- W.C. Fields

Mark Leo holds the cup given him by daughter Madeleine.  Yashica T4 Super, 35mm f/3.5, Zeiss lens. Kodak E100SW.

We didn't get a picture of Trini, a Supai warrior who had the onerous job of pushing a wheelbarrow with chemicals to slosh into the new outhouses, which we think you should see.    The natives, we understand, don't like their pictures taken, out of fear that the cameras will suck their souls out.    As Trini would have said,
"D-a-a-a-m-n!"
