At left, Mark looks back up from one of the two tunnels leading down to Mooney Falls.
Andrewjeski gave an account of how Oprah Winfrey and crew clambered down, after getting a helicopter ride from Hilltop Parking area to the Havasu campground above this waterfall. They did so clumsily and with great deliberaton, due to terror from steepness in parts of the trail which required using the chains which were spiked to the rock. As each member reached the bottom a great cheer would rise. Big deal. Frankly, if one fell, one might have an outer body experience and the next instant float away from the earth and see one's own brains scattered on the rock below like scrambled eggs and salsa.
