Diego Diego has always been our star - the first alpaca we purchased & what a fabulous find he was! He is a gorgeous light fawn full Peruvian huacaya with excellent conformation & presence galore! Diego has amazingly fine fibre with excellent density, brightness & soft handle. His AFD (average fibre diameter) has stayed very consistent since he was a cria (only increased 0.5 microns from 9 months to 4.5 years of age!) At 6.5 years of age, his fleece is still one of the nicest of the herd, including crias! His offspring have dense, crimpy, lustrous, fine fibre and excellent conformation. We have used Diego as much as we can and have never been disappointed. But now we must admit that he'd be put to better use at another farm wanting to add his fabulous genetics. $2000 Cdn |
